Mrs. Mary Denham Partridge, wife of General Benjamin Waring Partridge of Monticello, died yesterday afternoon at the residence of her niece Miss Elizabeth Barnard, 627 Market Street.

Mrs. Partridge came here several weeks ago on a visit and was taken ill. With her at the time of her death were her husband and her children: Rev. J. A Partridge, of McDonough, Ga., B. W. Partridge, Jr., and Mrs. W. R. Austin Smith, of Huntington, W. Va., Mrs. John D. McCall, Miss Sarah Nellie Partridge and Miss Elsie Partridge of Monticello. Present also were W. R. Austin Smith and John D. McCall.

Mrs. Partridge was Miss Mary Denham and was born 71 years ago in Belleair, near Tallahassee. She was the wife of General Partridge who is well known throughout the South, having been for several terms commander of the Florida division, United Confederate Veterans. The family, which has been prominent in West Florida and throughout the South, will have the deepest sympathy of their countless number of friends.

The body accompanied by the family will be taken this morning to Monticello where the funeral services will be held Wednesday. Moulton and Kyle have charge of the arrangements. - - Florida Times-Union.

Mrs. Partridge was the sister-in-law of Rev. H. E. Partridge of Bunnell, the latter leaving Tuesday morning for Monticello to attend the funeral.
