Albert Loggie Doak of Bunnell passed away Friday afternoon in an Ocala hospital. He was en route from a DeLand Nursing Home to the Veterans Hospital in Lake City. He was 82 years of age.

Mr. Doak was born in Houlton, Maine, and has resided in Bunnell the past several years. He was a retired operating engineer and a veteran of both the Spanish-American War and World War I. He was a member of Monument Masonic Lodge 96 in Houlton and the DeLand Eastern Star of which he was a life member and past patron.

Funeral services were held at 11 o'clock Monday morning from the Chapel of Allen Summerhill in DeLand. Interment followed at DeLand Memorial Gardens. The Eastern Star Chapter conducted services at the chapel and the Masons held the grave­side service.

Survivors include his wife, Lester D. Doak, Bunnell; one son, H. A. Doak, Sacramento, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Frances Palmer, San Rafael, Calif., and Mrs. Veta Craigscutter, New York City; one brother, H. F. Doak, Detroit; and a sister in Colorado.
