The Grim Reaper has reached out again and taken another one of the old pioneers of this territory, Miss Eliza Durrance, sister of George Durrance, Sr., of Bunnell. Miss Durrance was 88 years of age, dying Wednesday afternoon, January 6, in a hospital in Palatka. She has lived many years in San Mateo. The end of her life is deplored by her many friends in this territory.

She is survived by one brother G. W. Durrance, of Bunnell, and one sister, Mrs. G. A. Turner, of San Mateo. There are two nephews, W. F. and R. E. Tilton, of San Mateo, and nine nieces, Mrs. Lizzie Turner, Mrs. Minnie Young, Mrs. W. P; Hanna, and Mrs. B. E. Haynes, all of San Mateo; Mrs. G. W. Anderson, Green Cove, Springs; Mrs. W. H. Cope and Mrs. Carl Zetrauer, of Jacksonville; Mrs. H. Hart, Daytona Beach and Mrs. Reed Oakley, of Springville, Utah.

Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon at the L. S. D. Church at San Mateo, with President of the Florida District, officiating. Interment was made in the San Mateo Cemetery.
