THE FLAGLER TRIBUNE
Bunnell, Florida
Thursday, May 27, 1926

Harry F. Jr., the 19-months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry F. Duttenhaver, was drowned in the drainage canal running in front of the home of H. E. Duttenhaver, grandfather of the drowned child, six miles northwest of Bunnell, this evening at seven o'clock.

The child, with other children, was playing in front of the home and it is supposed slipped into the canal, and was found floating upon the water. Efforts were made at the scene of the tragedy to bring back the life, but without avail. The child was then hurried here to Dr. L. A. Carter, but the physician's efforts proved fruitless also.

The funeral will be held in Indianpolis, former home of Mr. and Mrs. Duttenhaver.

Mr. and Mrs. Duttenhaver have many friends in this county who will be shocked to learn of the tragedy, and extend their heartfelt sympathy.
