THE FLAGLER TRIBUNE
Bunnell, Florida

Caroline Dyson, Jeanette Fayson and Pleman Everett, Negroes of Daytona Beach, who were traveling in a small model automobile to Brunswick, Georgia, were forced to stop here Wednesday morning when the Dyson woman became seriously ill on the road. She died shortly after the automobile was parked on Moody Boulevard in the business section.

Dr. L. A. Carter was called soon after the Negroes arrived but there was nothing the doctor could do. Everett explained that the Dyson woman was suffering from dropsy and that she had been advised by doctors in Daytona Beach that she should not attempt to make the trip, but as Brunswick was her old home she persuaded her companions to drive the car in the attempt.

Clark's undertaking establishment of Daytona Beach sent their ambulance and took the body back to the starting city.
