A. J. Eatman, life-long resident of this section of Florida, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Anita Mc­Dermott in Jacksonville Tuesday morning after a short illness.

Mr. Eatman lived in the northeastern section of the county, near the St. Joseph community and conducted a trucking business.

Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. McDermott of Jacksonville; one sister; Mrs. Alec Pickett of Ocala; three brothers, Ed Eatman of this county; Moody Eatman of Cordele, Georgia, and Roscoe Eatman of Albany, Georgia.

Funeral services were held and interment made at Pellicer Creek Cemetery Wednesday. Rev. Wall of Jacksonvi1le had charge of the funeral service, with Rev. J. M. Devette of Bunnell, assisting.
