Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 from the Pellicer Creek Methodist Church for Edward A. Eatman, who died in a. St. Augustine hos­pital Sunday after a short illness. Mr. Eatman was 90 years of age.

Mr. Eatman, a native of Raleigh, N. C., had lived most of his life at the Eatman home in the northeastern section of this county. He was engaged in farming and cattle raising.

Up until a short time before his death, Mr. Eatman had been active in his daily affairs, and retained his keen grasp of local and national affairs. His accurate memory of the early days in this area were extremely interesting.

He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Bernice Jones, Espanola; Mrs. Ellis Dupont and Josephine Eatman, Bunnell; Zackie Eatman, Daytona Beach, and Mrs. Wilbur Blount, Hastings, N. Y.; three sons, Willard of Bunnell; Truman of Moultrie, Ga., and Worth of St. Augustine; two sisters, Mrs. Stella Pickett, Ocala, and Mrs. Jessie Welsh, Indiana. Also surviving are 24 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Interment was in Pellicer Creek Cemetery with Craig Funeral Home, St. Augustine in charge.

Active pallbearers were D. D. Moody, J. F. Mercer, T. E. Holden, Glb Anderson, H. T. Cook and Henry Wells.

Honorary were George Moody, E. W. Johnston, E. A. Hunter, Walter Cody, M. L. Johnson and George Wickline.
