Augustus James French, 60, died suddenly Monday at his home in Flagler Beach. The body was prepared and shipped by Garcia Funeral Home, St. Augustine to Mr. French's former home in Meriden, Conn. for interment. The body was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Mabel French.

He moved to Flagler Beach about four years from Meriden. He was a member of the Flagler Beach Community Baptist Church.
