Wilford C. Fuller, who lived at 133 Foster Lane in Palm Coast, died Monday evening at Community Hospital of Bunnell from injuries received in an accident on S. SR A1A in Flagler Beach.

His widow, Virginia, was reportedly enroute to Maryland to visit a daughter when Mr. Fuller died.

His body was sent to Halifax District Hospital to determine the exact cause of death.

Palm Coast resident Wilford C. Fuller, 133 Foster Lane, was admitted to Bunnell Community Hospital Mar 24, as a result of an earlier one car automobile accident on S.R. A1A, Flagler Beach. He died shortly after arrival due to internal bleeding according to local authorities.

He was a member of St. Mark by the Sea Lutheran Church and was active in the Kiwanis Club of Flagler Palm Coast.

Mr. Fuller was born in Muskogee, Okla., and attended both the University of Cincinnati and the University of Illinois. He was connected with several Washington, D.C. construction companies as engineer and estimator and played an early role in the manufacture of pre-stressed concrete as well as its application. He retired in 1977 and moved to Palm Coast from Silver Springs, Md.

Survivors include his widow, Virginia; a sister, Dorothy Yoder of Orlando; two sons, George Fuller of Atlanta and Donald Major of Wheaton, Md.; and four daughters, Nancy McCambridge of Ft. Collins, Colo., Karen Brown of Silver Spring, Md., Katherine Howard of Davidsonville, Md., and Peggy Graham, Point Pleasant, N.J. Mr. Fuller had 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Burial took place March 26 at Silver Spring, Md. A memorial service will be conducted at St. Mark by the Sea Lutheran Church following Easter at time and date to be announced.  In lieu of flowers, those interested are urged to contribute to the church’s memorial fund.

A memorial service for the late Wilford C. Fuller of Palm Coast will be held at Palm Coast By the Sea Lutheran Church at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. St. Mark pastor Rev. Karl J. Konigsberger will conduct the official Lutheran ritual. He will be assisted by Rev. Charles S. Karr, Deacon of Mother Seton Catholic Church, and Bick Colesworthy, representing the Kiwanis Club of Flagler Palm Coast. All area friends and neighbors are invited.
