Mrs. Dorothy Gage Chester died last Thursday morning of a heart attack at her home in Detroit, Michigan.

A native of Blue Mound, Ill, she moved here with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Gage and lived here until she and her husband moved to Detroit in 1942. She was a graduate of Seabreeze High School in Daytona Beach.

The body was shipped to Daytona Beach and graveside services were held Tuesday afternoon in Hillside Cemetery in Ormond Beach, with Dr. O. A Murphy, pastor of the Community Methodist Church, officiating. Pallbearers were H. T. Cook, T. K. McKnight, of Bunnell; Baxter Yarborough of Hastings; Malcolm Johnson, Harold Massie, and Harold Rowley of Flagler Beach.

Survivors include her husband, Bruce Chester, two daughters, Sandra Lee and Barbara Ann, of Detroit; three sisters, Flora and Emily Gage of Flagler Beach; Mrs. Clara Hoppe of Blue Mound, Ill.; one brother, Lyman Gage, also of Flagler Beach.
