James Luther Gill of Palm Circle, Flagler Beach, passed away late Sunday afternoon, in the Flagler Clinic and. Hospital here, following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Gill was born in Kanawaka County, West Virginia, and was a retired maintenance mechanic for the DuPont Company. He had lived in Flagler Beach for the past year and a half, coming from Marmet, W. Va. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mae Gill, Flagler Beach; a step-son, Paul Workman, Spencer, W. Va.; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Hudnal, Mrs. Mable Barnett and Mrs. Bertha Foster; five brothers, Lee, John, MacHenry, Sr., Arthur, and Harry Gill. Six grandchildren also survive.

The body was forwarded to Charleston, W. Va., where funeral and interment will take place.

Craig Funeral Home of Bunnell was in charge of local arrangements.
