Miss Marguerite Gleason of Flagler Beach died in a Daytona Beach hospital early Monday evening following an illness of several weeks.

Miss Gleason came to Flagler Beach 15 years ago from Old Orchard, Maine. She was a member of the Catholic Church and also belonged to, the Altar and Rosary Society of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Korona.

Prayers were said Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock at the chapel of Craig Funeral Home, 201 East Moody Blvd., Bunnell. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock this morning from St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Bunnell with Father Goodman officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery, Daytona Beach.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Amy Quimby of Tomoka; one niece, Mrs. Ronald Gadapee, Quincy, Mass.; two nephews, Harry Quimby of Brooklyn and David Gleason of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Pallbearers are Andrew Zalewski, Paul Stanish, Bradford Bowen, Charles F. Charon, Silvio Felice, and Richard Palczewski.

Craig Funeral Home of Bunnell is in charge of arrangements.
