Charles P. Goodson of Umatilla, former resident of Bunnell, passed away Monday at his home after an illness of several weeks. He was 61 years old. Mr. Goodson was a native of Texas but had resided in Floida for many years. He had served as a Florida State Road Department Engineer from District Five for a number of years.
He is survived by his, wife, Mrs. Audrey Goodson of Umatilla; a son, Billy Goodson of Eustis; a daughter, Mary Deanna Goodson of Umatilla; one grandson Charlie of Eustis. Also surviving are two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services were held at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the First Methodist Church of Umatilla. Burial followed at the Umatilla Cemetery.
