Burton D. Goodwin, Sr., 74, of 812 S. Central Ave., Flagler Beach, died Monday at Halifax District Hospital, Dayto­na Beach.

Mr. Goodwin was born in Evanston, Ill., and moved to Flagler Beach 9 years ago from Portsmouth, Va. He was a retired salesman for public utilities, a veteran of WW I, and a charter member and post commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Graddock, Va.

He is survived by his wife, Elfie, Flagler Beach; one daughter, Mrs. Frances Hall, Norfolk, Va.; two sons, Dr­. Burton Goodwin, Jr., Savannah, Ga., and Dr. George Sedath, Norfolk; 9 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:00 p. m. at Craig. Funeral Home, Bunnell, with the Rev. R. W. Dickert, pastor of Community Memorial Church, officiating. Interment was in Bellevue Memorial Park, Daytona Beach.

Pallbearers were Fred Marks, B. T. Hord, Dick Mosby, Ruben Gardei, Rev. C. W. Barnes and Cecil Westbrook, Sr.

Craig Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
