Floyd W. Groves, 65, of 220 Fergerson Park, North Syracuse, a retired planning supervisor for the parts division of the Hupp Corp., successor to Easy Washer Corp., died Thursday in his home.

A native of Lorraine, Mr. Groves lived in North Syracuse 33 years. He retired three years ago. .

He was a member of Andrews Memorial Methodist Church and former Sunday school superintendent.

A member and past master of Centerville Masonic Lodge, Mr.. Groves also was affiliated with Central City Consistory and Tigris Shrine.

He was a member and past patron of the Centerville Chapter 185, OES.

He was active in the Senior Citizens Club of Flagler Beach, Fla., where he wintered the last two years.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Muriel Townsend Groves; a daughter, Mrs. Janice Clancy of Hackensack, N. J.; three brothers, Elwin of Adams, Eldridge of Lacona and Edward Groves of Lorraine; and a sister, Mrs. Harry Gibson of Canton.

Services were at 2 p. m. Friday at the Sears Funeral Home, North Syracuse, the Rev. Whetstone officiating. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery in Centerville.
