John Curry Hall Sr., died suddenly at his home on E. Moody Boulevard about 1:10 Friday morning. He was 69 years of age.

Mr. Hall was a native of Ohio and moved to Daytona Beach in 1920 where he was employed for several years. He also resided in Jacksonville for some time before coming to Bunnell in 1943. He was in business here before he retired in 1947.

Mr. Hall had suffered a heart attack several years ago and had been ill several weeks last summer but he was apparently feeling good when he retired about two hours before his death. Survivors include his widow, Agnes; two sons, John C. Hall Jr., and William P. Hall, of Bunnell; one daughter, Mrs. David Dobson, Flagler Beach; one brother Orville of Vermillion, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Dan Orr, Minoa, N. Y. Also surviving are three grand children, Mrs. M. B. McDaniel and Owen C. Shelton of Bunnell and Agnes Hall of St. Augustine; two great grandchildren, Robert McDaniel and Jackie Shelton, of Bunnell.

Funeral services were held from the First Baptist Church of Bunnell at two o'clock Monday afternoon with the pastor, Rev. Thomas Pinner, officiating. Interment followed at the Bellevue Memorial Cemetery in Daytona Beach. Haigh and Black Funeral Home of Daytona Beach were in charge of arrangements.

Active Pallbearers were F. J. Chambers, Curtis Deen, Leonard Moody, P. A. Edmonson, Hoke Cobb, and Emmett Strickland. Honorary were Henry Wells, J. F. Mercer, D. D. Moody, Dr. John Canakaris, E. A. Hunter, and H. T. Cook.
