Robert Thomas Hamilton, member of the Flagler County Board of County Commissioners, died suddenly from a heart attack about 10 o'clock Wednesday morning on a downtown street.

Mr. Hamilton, who was 63 years old, was a native of Susanville, Oregon, and came to Flagler County in 1913 where he owned and operated a farm. He had served as County Commissioner from District No.4 about 11 years. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and The American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Frances Hamilton, two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Weeks of Bunnell, and Mrs. Kathryn McCort of Flagler Beach; his father, Robert Hamilton, Bunnell; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Salyerds, Bunnell; Mrs. Bessie Darling, Palouse, Washington. Also surviving are two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held from the First Baptist Church of Bunnell Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. E. W. Ware, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Crescent City Cemetery with Flagler Post 115, The American Legion conducting the service. The body will lie in state from 1 o'clock Friday afternoon until the funeral hour.

Active pallbearers are Henry Wells, D. D. Moody, F. L. Mal­phurs, George Wickline, L. M. Whitaker and T. K. McKnight. Honorary pallbearers are members of the board of county commissioners.
