The body of Schuiler F. Hamilton, whose body was found last Friday on a sand dune north of Flagler Beach, will be cremated and shipped to New York, Sheriff Henry Wells said today.

Hamilton's body was found by residents of that area, and after a thorough investigation by the sheriff's office here, it was declared he died of a heart attack. The sheriff said the investigation showed Hamilton had been in ill health for some time, and was taking medicine for a heart ailment.

Hamilton had been missing from a St. Augustine hotel since January 3. His badly decomposed body was found well away from the ocean edge.

The man's identity was not found until the next day because of decomposition. Garcia Funeral Home in St. Augustine has charge of the body.

Relatives of the dead man have been contacted and, it is understood they ordered the cremation and shipment North.
