Jimmie T. Hargett, Sr., 46 East Lambert Avenue, Bunnell, died Wednesday, March 22, at Bunnell General Hospital following an extended illness.

Born in Daytona Beach he was a lifelong resident of Flagler County. He owned and operated Hargett's Standard Oil Service Station in Bunnell. He was a member of Bunnell First Baptist Church, VFW Post 5213, Flagler County Cham­ber of Commerce and served on the Flagler County Recreation Advisory Council. He was a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Wilda; two daughters, Mrs. Sherry Reavis and Mrs. Nancy Miller, both of Bunnell; a son, Tommy, Bunnell; his mother, Mrs. Thelma Crofty, Castleberry; his grandmother, Mrs. Mae Hendren, Flagler Beach and a grandson.

Funeral services were Sunday afternoon at 3:00 in the Bunnell First Baptist Church with the Reverend Donald Foster officiating Interment was in Hope Cemetery

Pallbearers were J. T. Whitaker, John A. Clegg, Clifford Higginbotham, Roger Edwards, George Moremen, and Leonard Durrance.

Craig Funeral Home, Bunnell, was in charge.
