Thursday, January 28, 1937Word was received here Monday afternoon of the death of Charles (Daddy) Harris which occurred in Miami on Monday morning January 25th at the Harris home.
Mr. Harris resided here with his family for a number of years before moving to Miami about twelve years ago. He was 82 years of age.
Mr. Harris was an active member of the Methodist church and Sunday school here, serving as secretary and treasurer of both organizations for a number of years before moving to Miami. He was also a member of the local Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his widow and one son, Charles Harris of Miami.
Funeral services were conducted by the Miami Masonic Lodge and burial was made there.
