Samuel Harrison, painting contractor in Daytona Beach, died suddenly at his home there Tuesday morning.

Mr. Harrison, a resident here a number of years ago and who owned a small farm just west of Bunnell, went to Daytona Beach from St. Augustine, to which place he moved after leaving Bunnell.

Mr. Harrison, who was 75 years old, was one of the first to buy property here from the original land development concern about 40 years ago.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o’clock in Haigh and Brooks’ chapel. Rev. Paul Edris, of the First Presbyterian Church, officiated.

Surviving are his widow, Anna; a son, Frank, who lives in Vancouver, B. C.; two brothers, Arthur of Trails, C. C. and Harry, who lives in Nelson, B. C.
