Judge Elmer E. Haskell, resident of Palatka for 50 years and one of Florida's outstanding Masons and senior past grandmaster of Florida, died there Wednesday morning, following a short illness. .

Dr. Haskell was well known in Bunnell where he owned valuable property, including the Bunnell State Bank building block.

In past years he also has visited the local Masonic lodge and attended sessions of the Eastern Star chapter.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 8 o'clock with high Masonic honors at Palatka. He is survived by his wife and one brother, Roy M. Haskell of Beverly, Mass.
