Mrs. F. W. Simms died at her home on the Deen Road last Monday morning at 7:30. She was born at City Point, Florida, January 18, 1888.

In the year 1909 she met and married Mr. Frank Allen of North Ca­olina. To, this union was born one child, a daughter, Miss Evelyn Allen, who now resides with her grandmother, Mrs. J. D. Halter, of Cocoa, Florida.

Mrs. Allen was left a widow in a few years and remained in this state until she was married to her present husband, F. W. Simms. To this union was born one child, a son, F. W. Simms, Jr.

Mrs. Simms is survived by her husband, .one daughter, Miss Evelyn Allen, of Cocoa; one son, F. W. Simms, Jr. and three stepdaughters; Mrs. A. P. Capo of St. Augustine; Miss R. L. Simms of Bunnell, and Mrs. C. A. Burnsed, also of this place. Two sisters, Mrs. Chas. Morant of Jacksonville and Mrs. Morris Wienburg, of Cocoa; one brother, Walter Halter, of Cocoa.

Mrs. Simms was a good Christian wife and mother, having professed her faith in her early years with the M. E. Church, South.

She was of a sunny disposition, kind to everyone, loved and respected by all who knew her.

Funeral services were held at the home of Mrs. Weinburg and. interment made in the Cocoa Cemetery; Hindle Undertaker Parlor, of Cocoa, having charge of the funeral arrange­ments.
