Mrs. Fay Henry of Evansville, Indiana, mother of Mrs. Donald R. Kaufman of Flagler Beach, passed away in a Marianna, Florida hospital August 26 from injuries received in a truck-car accident there on August 23.

Funeral services were held in the family lot in a Marion, Kentucky cemetery on August 30.

Also injured in the accident were Norman Henry and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Henry, father and brother and sister in law of Mrs. Kaufman.

The Henrys had spent several days in Flagler Beach visiting with the Kaufmans and were en route to their home when the accident occurred. Her father was seriously injured but is recovering and is expected to be able to walk again. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Henry were painfully injured but were released from the hospital after receiving medical treatment.

Mrs. Kaufman returned last week after spending several days in Marianna and also attending the funeral services in Marian. She said they were total strangers there but the people of Marianna opened their hearts to the family, providing a home, food, laundry, transportation and all their needs while there, free. Mrs. Kaufman said she felt such understanding sympathy and treatment was something to talk about.
