Accidental death by carbon monoxide poisoning was the finding Saturday of a Coroner's Jury in the Friday morning death of H. G. Heydt, 71, Flagler Beach.

The jury was empanelled by Justice of the Peace Levi Brannam after Heydt was pronounced dead on arrival at Bunnell General Hospital.

Mrs. Heydt said her husband, a nondriver, was in the habit of starting the car in. the garage and letting it warm up to keep it in shape. She said he got up at 3 Friday morning and started the car as usual. Later she smelled gas fumes and found her husband slumped in the front seat, the car still running.

H. G. Heydt of Flagler Beach who passed away on July 1 in his home in Flagler Beach was returned to the Francis F. Seidel Funeral Home in Reading, Pa., for funeral services and interment. There were no local services. Arrangements were by the Craig Funeral Home. He was 71 years of age.

He is survived by his wife Esther R. Heydt, Flagler Beach; 1 daughter, Mrs. June Hiester of Temple, Pa.; a brother, Henry G. Heydt of Reading, Pa.
