William Hill, Sr., resident of the St. Johns Park Section for over thirty years, died at his home there on July 13 following an illness of over three years duration.

Mr. Hill was a native of England but has been a resident of the United States for over fifty years. He formerly resided in McKeesport, Pa., before coming to Flagler County. He was 80 years of age.

He is survived by his widow and one son, William Hill, Jr., who reside in St, Johns Park.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in the chapel of the Carl Davis Funeral Home in Palatka with the Pastor of the Episcopal Church in Palatka conducting the service. Burial was made in Oaklawn Cemetery in Palatka.

Pallbearers were Martin Harding, Danny Harding, Rudye Shamblen, Charley Brown, Charles Akins, and George Akins.
