Grant Hooper of Cleveland, Georgia, and son of T. B. Hooper of Bunnell, was instantly killed on August 15 near Gainesville, Georgia, when a truck attempting to pass a large moving van truck collided head on with the Hooper car.

One passenger, a Mr. Boggs also of Cleveland, was also killed instantly and two other occupants of the car were confined to a hospital with painful injuries.

Mr. Hooper is survived by his widow and eight children of Cleveland, Ga.: his parents, Mrs. And Mrs. T. B. Hooper of Bunnell; five brothers, F. W. Hooper and Joe Hooper of Jacksonville; Mel Dean and Clarence Hooper of Miami and Milam Hooper who is in South America. Also surviving are five sisters, among them being Miss Veldia Hooper of Bunnell.

Funeral services were held at Cleveland on Friday afternoon and burial was made the same day.
