Henry L. Johnson, 73, uncle of Mrs. A. C. Rodgers of Bunnell, died in Orange General Hospital in Orlando Saturday evening following a short illness.

Mr. Johnson, who familiarly known by his friends as Mr. Latt, was 73 years of age and a native of Washington, Georgia. He had made his home with here with Mr. and Mrs. Rodgers for the past 13 years.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon with Rev. A. A. Godfrey, pastor of the church, in charge.

Following the service, the body was shipped to Washington, GA., for burial in the family plot at Rock Church cemetery on Thursday afternoon. The body was accompanied to Washington by Mrs., A. C. Rodgers and three sons, Carol, Danny, and Curtis.

Survivors include one brother, W. W. Johnson of Washington, Ga.; two nieces, Mrs. A. C. Rodgers of Bunnell, and Mrs. J. S. Adkins of Lexington, GA.; one nephew, D. D, Johnson of Jacksonville, Texas.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Garcia Funeral Home of St. Augustine.

Active pallbearers were J. F. Mercer, Paul Burrel, L. H. Wilson, Dale B. Brown, G. C. McArn and W. H. Wells. Honorary pallbearers were F. L. Byrd, G. W. Taylor, Fred Booe, Clyde Lewis, R. W. Deen, Sr., W. H. Deen, G. E. Allen, Joe Stanish, H. T. Cook, M. L. Barber, J. L. Pellicer, R. C. Buckles and T. O. Durrance.
