Lewis "Lew" Edison Jones of Nelsonville, Ohio, aged 55, died Sunday night in Flagler Beach, following a brief illness. He was a tavern operator and had been a life long resident of Nelsonville.

He had been a winter visitor at Flagler Beach for the past eight years, and had just arrived for his annual stay when he was taken ill.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Forrest Jones of Nelsonville; one daughter and six sisters and two grandchildren, all of whom reside in Ohio.

The remains were forwarded to Nelsonville Tuesday evening for services and interment later in the week.

Craig Funeral Home of Bunnell, 201 East Moody Blvd., was in charge of local arrangements.
