John C. King, 69, Bunnell carrier for the Florida Times-Union, died in Glendale Hospital in Palatka last Thursday evening at 8:30, after having been a patient of the hospital for two weeks.

Mr. King was a retired Baptist minister, having held several charges in his home state of Kentucky before coming to Florida. He was born in Orange County, Kentucky and lived there most of his life. He had been a resident of Bunnell for about two years.

The body was shipped back to Newport, Kentucky and buried beside that of his wife. Crabbe Funeral Home of Palatka was in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by three brothers, W. H. King of Bunnell; Charles King of Cleveland, Ohio; Dewey of Cincinnati; and one sister, Mrs. Alice Brokaw also of Cincinnati.
