Mrs. Alice K. Hall, wife of J. C. Hall, Jr., of Bunnell, died late Monday afternoon in a Palatka hospital following a short illness.

Mrs. Hall was a member of one of the pioneer families of Flagler County, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Knight of Haw Creek. She was 51 years of age, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Bunnell.

Mr. and Mrs. Hall were owners and operators of The Hall Service Station in Bunnell. They resided at their home on North Moore Street.

Funeral services will be held from the First Baptist Church of Bunnell at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon (today). The body will be at the church from 1 o'clock until the funeral hour. Interment will be in the family plot in Eden Cemetery in Crescent City. Johnson-Davis Funeral Home of Palatka is in charge of arrangements.

Dr. E. W. Ware and Rev. John T. Dixon of Okeechobee will officiate.

Mrs. Hall is survived by her husband, J. C. Hall, Jr., a daughter, Mrs. Herschel King, of Bunnell; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Singletary; Jacksonville, and Mrs. Nelson Dunn, Fort Worth, Texas; three brothers, Walter E. Knight of Bunnell; Daniel B. Knight of DeLand, and Dr. Claude M. Knight of Palatka. Also surviving are three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers are Nicholas Angelokas, Alfred Tucker, P. A. Edmonson, George M. Moody, Alton Harris, Emmett Strickland, and Richard Cantrell.

Honorary are H. T. Cook, W. H. Atkinson, Henry Wells, and Hoke Cobb.
