Mrs. Effie M. Miller of Flagler Beach, widow of the late Joe Miller, died in the Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach about 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon following a long illness.

She had been in failing health for three years and confined to bed and wheelchair for a year. She received treatment in Halifax Hospital for the past seven weeks.

Mrs. Miller was a native of Nebraska, but moved to Flagler County with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Lambert, in 1910.

Funeral services will be held from the Baptist Community Church of Flagler Beach Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. Leonard Melton, pastor of the Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Espanola Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 12 o'clock Friday until the funeral hour.

Survivors include a son and a daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Miller, Flagler Beach; two sisters, Mrs. W. E. Martin, Heldton, Okla., and Mrs. V. N. Bruce, Garber, Okla., and one brother, Ira Lambert, Stillwater, Okla. Also surviving is a step-granddaughter, Mrs. Dorothy Richardson of Hawaii.

Pallbearers are: D. D. Moody, M. B. Fuller, Otis Magee, K. K. Knight, Walter Knight and W. H. Wells.
