Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Chapel of Seashole Funeral Parlors in Jacksonville for George Foster Lloyd who died at his home there Wednesday. A member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, officiated.

Mr. Lloyd was a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, and came to Jacksonville in 1914. He was civil engineer and was for four years superintendent of construction at Cecil Field. He was at one time superintendent for the Wilson Construction Co. and had been a claim adjuster with a bonding company.

He was employed with the Construction Company who built the Old Brick Highway through St. Johns and Flagler Counties, and he was engineer on the project. He was a son-in-law of Mrs. Ruth Hunter, and brother-in-law of E. A. Hunter and Mrs. W. E. Kudrna of Bunnell.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Maude H. Lloyd; three daughters, Mrs. Maude Wagner of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Mrs. Joseph C. Goss, Jr. and Mrs. Rufus L. Waters, this city; one son, Foster George Lloyd, this city; seven grandchildren, and seven great­grandchildren.
