THE FLAGLER TIRIBUNE
Bunnell, Florida
Thursday, February 22, 1937

Mrs. Nellie Myrtle Moore and Mrs. Martha Logan, two beloved Flagler Beach matrons, who were friends and neighbors for years passed away within a day of each other during the past week, in the same hospital in St. Augustine. Both were charter members of the Women's Chamber of Commerce when it was organized out of the Birthday Club, at the home of Mrs. Logan in 1932.

Mrs. Moore was married to Joseph Moore in Ohio, February 12, just 85 years ago to the day of her death. The couple came to Florida about 15 years ago. The deceased was a member of the Eastern Star lodge in the north. Interment was in Hope Cemetery, Flagler Beach.

Mrs. Logan came to Florida from Georgia 30 years ago with her husband, James R. Logan, who died 3 years ago. She resided in Flagler Beach for the past 11 years and was a sufferer from heart trouble for the past year.

Mrs. Tom Bruner and Jack Logan of Flagler Beach and five daughters living in Jacksonville survive. The deceased was buried in Englewood cemetery, Jacksonville and the funeral attended by all of the children and brothers and sisters from Georgia.

May beautiful floral offerings showed the esteem in which both women were held. They will be greatly missed in church and social circles.
