Ira G. Long, 75, 1705 S. Central Ave., Flagler Beach, died Thursday, Mar. 10 at Bunnell General Hospital. Born in Matthews, N.C., he moved to Flagler Beach, 13 years ago from Charlotte, N. C. He was a retired school teacher, served in the U.S. Army during World War II, member of Flagler Beach United Methodist Church and a member of the Jim Booe Chapter 86.

Survivors include his wife, Sadie; three sisters and one brother.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, at Craig Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allen Barrett, pastor of Flagler Beach United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment was at Memorial Park, Ormond Beach.

Pallbearers were Robert Clark, Wilfred Tazey, John Galbraith, James McCallum Sr., James McCallum Jr., and Howard Lerch.
