Memorial services for Mrs. Rachel T. MacDonald, 83, of 1620 S. Central Ave. Flagler Beach, who passed away Tuesday in Ormond Beach, were conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at the Flagler Beach United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Donald Cokenhour and Rev. Cheryl Pingel conducted the service. Mrs. MacDonald was active in the Hardin Park Methodist Church in Detroit before moving to Florida.
She was born in Brockton, Mass. and before her retirement she was a librarian of research for the Engineering Department of Ford Motor Company in Detroit. She was a charter member and former president of the Michigan Chapter of Special Library Association.
She was also a member of the Flagler Beach United Methodist Church and her family has requested in lieu of other remembrances that donations be made to the chuch.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Francis Robbins of Palm Coast; a granddaughter, Diane Siwitalski and a great granddaughter. Caroline.
