Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o’clock from the First Baptist Church for Mrs. Fannie McClure, wife of Rev. W. K. McClure, pastor of the church.

Mrs. McClure died suddenly early Tuesday morning after suffering a stroke a few hours earlier. She had been in poor health for 20 years, yet her sudden death was a shock to the community.

Mrs. McClure was a native of Hindman, Kentucky, but had resided here for the past four years. They were residents of Bunnell several years ago when Rev. McClure was pastor here for the first time.

Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Reva Blakeman, Greensburg, Ky., and Mrs. Hugh Borgh, DeLand; five sons, J. F. McClure, Portland, Maine; O.K. McClure, Covington, Ky.; Paul McClure, San Rafael, Calif.; J. Lee McClure, Jacksonville, and W. K. McClure, Jr., Avon Park; three sisters, Mrs. James Frances, DeLand; Mrs.  Rachael Crane, Lexington, Ky.; and Mrs. Cindy Stewart, Morehead, Ky. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Rev. C. E. Rogers of Vero Beach, assisted by the Rev. E. Nash Philpot of DeLand will officiate at the services. Interment will be in Oakdale Cemetery in DeLand.
