Mrs. J. E. Rose received word that her mother, Mrs. A. C. Parker, passed away in Pensacola at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Marie Sheppard, Monday, September 26th at 6 P. M., after an extended illness. Mrs. Parker, who was 91 last April, had lived here with Dr. and Mrs. Rose and has many friends who will regret to hear of her death.

Funeral services were held at 10 A. M. Wednesday in Brewton, Ala. Other survivors besides Mrs. Rose and Mrs. Sheppard are a daughter, Mrs. Bell McClellan of Pensacola, and five sons, G. U. Parker of Blountstown, E. J. Parker of Kissimmee; E. M. Parker of Punta Gorda; M. A. Parker of Sarasota; and Mal Parker of Brewton, Ala.

Mrs. Rose returned here on Monday after spending four days in Pensacola with her mother and sister, Mrs. Marie Sheppard.
