Nell McIntosh Allen, 91, 106 E. Lambert St., longtime, resident of Bunnell, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, at her home following an extended illness. She was born in The Ridge, Ga., and moved to Bunnell 58 years ago from Jacksonville. She is the widow of the late George Allen, Bunnell Timber producer. She was a member of the Bunnell First United Methodist Church and was a real daughter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ida Powell, and Mrs. Ria Johnston, both of Bunnell and Mrs. Louise Durshimer, Albany, Ga.; one son, George, Bunnell; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Atkinson, Griffin, Ga. and Mrs. Lila Burroughs, Titusville; seven grandchildren and five great­grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10 in the Bunnell First United Methodist Church with Rev. Logan Whalen, pastor, officiating.

Interment was in Espanola Cemetery. Pallbearers were R.W. Deen, Jr., Shelton Barber, H.T. Cook, Dale Brown, M.B. McDaniel and Curtis Deen.

Craig Funeral Home, Bunnell was in charge of arrangements.
