Ray Kelley Moody, 70, of Detroit, Mich., passed away at the Bunnell General Hospital early Tuesday morning following an illness of six weeks. He had resided in Flagler Beach only a short time when was stricken.

He was a retiree of the County of Wayne, Detroit. He was a World War I veteran; a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Masons and Shrine.

His only survivor, Gerald West, a half-brother, came down to be with him and was here when he died.

The body is being returned to Michigan for services and interment. Craig Funeral Home of Bunnell was in charge of ar­rangements.
