Mrs. Rose M. Seckner of Flagler Beach and Ilion, New York, passed away November 5 in an Albany New York Hospital following a long illness. She was 76 years of age. She was a native of Windfield, N. Y., and had resided in Ilion the greater part of her life. She went to Ilion two years ago to reside with her daughter because of failing health. She was making plans to spend the winter months at her home in Flagler Beach when she passed away.

Mrs. Seckner and her late husband, the late Milo Seckner, were the first to purchase lots in Flagler Beach after it was subdivided in the early twenties. They resided there sometime and returned to Ilion where they lived until 1948 when they returned to Flagler Beach. She was a member of the Community Memorial Church of Flagler Beach.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marie DiStefano of Ilion, N. Y., and Mrs. Ruth Stafford of Nixon, N. J; a sister, Mrs. Gladys Day of Brooklyn, N. Y; 4 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held from the Whitier-Hendrix Funeral Home in Ilion on November 11. Interment was at the Cedarville Cemetery.

There will be a Memorial Service Sunday morning at the Community Memorial Church in Flagler Beach for Mrs. Rose Seckner who died November 8 in New York State.

Mrs. Seckner was a charter member of the Church and was active in the church affairs. She had resided for the past two years in Ilion, New York with her daughter.

The two daughters, Mrs. Marie DiStefano of Ilion and Mrs. Ruth Stafford of Nixon, N. J. are here and will attend the Service Sun­day morning.
