Funeral services were held at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the First Baptist Church for Mrs. Fannie A. Cantrell, 67, who died early last Thursday evening at the Fort Pierce hospital following an illness of about five weeks.

Rev. John A. Dickson, pastor of the church, officiated. Burial followed in Espanola Cemetery.

Mrs. Cantrell was a native of Eton, Georgia, but had resided in Flagler County for the past 26 years. She was the widow of the late William Cantrell. She went to Ft. Pierce about six weeks ago to visit her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cantrell, where she suffered a cerebral hemorrhage. Although her condition had improved other complications set in and she was carried to the hospital on Wednesday where she died about six o'clock Thursday evening. She was a member of the local Baptist Church.

Mrs. Cantrell is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Otis Hunter, Mrs. Roscoe Lynn, Mrs. Harold Bowden, and Mrs. Jack Hosford, all of Bunnell; 3 sons, Richard Cantrell of Bunnell; Roy Cantrell of Ft. Pierce; and Ralph Cantrell of San Antonio, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Jackson of Eton, Ga.; and two brothers, G. A. Morris and E.T. Morris of Eton. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren.

Active pallbearers were Bion Matherly, H. H. Murray, D. H. Emery, Marvin Parker, Otis Magee and L. L. Harris. Honorary were W. H. Wells, K. K. Knight, Walter Cody, John Rice, Hubert Frier, D. D. Moody and G. J. Hosford.

Arrangements were under direction of Biard Funeral Home of Ft. Pierce.
