Mrs. Betty Shultz, wife of Clarence M. Shultz of Flagler Beach, was found dead Tuesday morning at the family home, 1424 South Central Ave.

Mr. and Mrs. Shultz were residents of Evansville, Ind., and after retirement they moved to Flagler Beach 13 years ago. They had resided in Jacksonville one year before coming to Flagler Beach.

Mrs. Shultz was active in the Flagler Woman's Club, and the Flagler Beach Methodist Church. She was a member of the church choir and often was soloist. She was 70 years of age and had been in declining health in recent years.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence M. Shultz, Flagler Beach; two sons, Charles M. Shultz of Danville, Ill. and Herman M. Shultz of Evansville, Ind.; one sister, Mrs. Fannie Ruston, Flagler Beach; two brothers, Ralph Olmsted of Evansvil1e, Ind., and Walter Olmsted of Bunker Hill, Ill. Also surviving are six grand children.

Funeral services will be held from the Flagler Beach Methodist Church Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment will follow at Bel1evue Memorial Cemetery, Daytona Beach. The Pastor Rev. Reynold Hoover will officiate.

The body will rest here at the Craig Funeral Home, 201 East Moody Boulevard, from 5 o'clock Thursday afternoon (today) until noon Friday, and from 2 o'clock until the funeral hour at the church.
