Mrs. Eula Fuquay, 69, former resident of Flagler Beach, died Monday in Halifax hospital in Daytona Beach.

For several years in the 1920's she and her husband, D. F. Fuquay lived at Flagler Beach, he being one of the early developers of the Fuquay subdivision in the south end of the town. Later the family returned to Daytona Beach where Mr. Fuquay was a contractor and builder.

Mrs. Fuquay was a native of Savannah, Ga., and went to Daytona Beach from St. Augustine in 1901.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Baggett-McIntosh Chapel in Daytona Beach.

Surviving are her husband, D. F. Fuquay; a son, Dana E. Fuquay, of Daytona Beach; two daughters, Mrs. Isla Kester and Mrs. Marguerite Massie of Flagler Beach.; a brother, Charles Parker, Flagler Beach; a sister, Mrs. Lela Penney, Jacksonville, and four grandchildren.

Burial was at Bel1evue Cemetery.
