Funeral services for Joseph C. Parrish, 51, 140 Palmetto Avenue, Flagler Beach, who passed away Saturday morn­ing at Bunnell General Hospital, were Monday morning at 10:00 at the Bunnell First Baptist Church.

The Rev. Charles Anders officiated. Graveside military rites were conducted by Jim Booe DAV Chapter No. 86 at Peniel Cemetery, Palatka.

Pallbearers were Raymond Smith, George Allard, Bill Damron, Gilbert Krier, Oscar Miess, and Calton Jones.

He was born in Palatka and moved to Flagler Beach 2 years ago from Jacksonville. He was retired from the United States Army and was a World War II veteran. He was instrumental in organizing the Disabled American Veterans Chapter .No. 86 and served as Commander. He was a member of American Legion Post 115 and Fraternal Order of Moose, New Smyrna.

Survivors include his wife, JoAnn, Flagler Beach; three daughters, Mrs. Wanda Nizer, Salt Lake City, Utah; and Misses Kathy and Karen Parrish, both of Flagler Beach; one step-son, William Ramsey, Ontario; one brother, Jeff Parrish, Jr., El Paso, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Albee, Lincoln, N. H.; Mrs. Lloyd Gage, Fort Bragg, N. C.; and Mrs. Kenneth Broxson, Spring Lake, N.C.
