J. D. Perritt of Flagler Beach received word Sunday of the death of his son, SP/6 Robert E. Perritt, who was stationed in Germany. He was stationed with the U.S. Army Medical Detachment 31.

Mr. Perritt is the son of J. D. Perritt of Flagler Beach and Mrs. Evelyn Zumwalt of Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Vero Beach and had received most of his education in Fort Worth schools.

During his junior and senior years of high school he served as business manager of The Technical High School paper. At the age of 18 he entered the U. S. Army. He would have been 32 years of age last Tuesday.

He had served with the army in Germany the past six years and had also served about six years in Korea.

Survivors include his father, J. D. Perritt of Flagler Beach; his mother, Mrs. Evelyn Zumwalt, of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters, Vicky Perritt of Flagler Beach and Mrs. Pat Zumwalt, Lewisville, Texas. Also surviving are two nieces and one nephew.

Mr. and Mrs. Perritt and Vicky are leaving Saturday evening for Fort Worth to attend the funeral.

A military funeral service will be held in Fort Worth Monday with burial in the military section of the Laurel Land Cem­etery.
