Mrs. Beulah Barker of St. Augustine, a former resident of Bunnell, died in a St. Augustine hospital early Monday morning following a short illness.

Mrs. Barker was born in Greenville, Florida, and was a member of the Pine Level Baptist Church of Starke. She was 39 years of age.

She is survived by her husband, John Phillip Barker, Sr., St. Augustine; her mother, Mrs. Sally Porter, Greenville; one daughter, Mrs. Wardeen Spivey, Flagler Beach; one son, John Phillip Barker, Jr., of Parris Island, S. C.; three half-sisters, Mrs. Falany, Perry; Mrs. Melissa Metkvins, Tallahassee; one brother, Mixon Porter, Pensacola; two half-brothers, Wyle and Woody Porter, Perry, and one grandson, John Phillip Barker, III.

Funeral services were held at the Craig Funeral Chapel in St. Augustine at 2 P. M. Wednesday afternoon with Rev. T. J. Powers, pastor of the Ancient City Baptist Church officiating. Services were also held from the First Baptist Church of Bunnell at 4 P. M. with Rev. E. W. Ware officiating. Interment was at Hope Cemetery here.

Craig Funeral Home of St. Augustine was in charge of arrangements.
