Mrs. Frances Powers of St. Augustine, mother of Mrs. Jack Forson of Bunnell, passed away Tuesday in a St. Augustine nursing home following a long illness. She was born in Chicago, Ill., and had resided in St. Augustine for the past 55 years.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Jack Forson of Bunnell; Mrs. John Andrews and Mrs. Herman McQuaig of St. Augustine; two sons, Ralph L. Powers and Allen F. Powers of St. Augustine; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Ingram of Dallas, Texas; and Mrs. Blanch Wolf of St. Augustine. Twelve grandchildren and two great- grandchildren also survive.

She was a member of the Catholic Church, The Catholic Daughters of America, and The Women of the Moose of which she held the office of Senior Regent. She also was a life member of the St. Augustine Boating Club.

The Rosary was said at the Craig Funeral Chapel in St. Augustine at 8 o'clock Wednesday evening. A memorial service was held by The Women of the Moose at 8:30. Funeral service will be at the Catholic Church in St. Augustine at 9 o'clock this morning.
