Mrs. Sylvania Presswood, 85, passed away Saturday at 4 P. M. in the Flagler Clinic and Hospital after an illness of two weeks. She had made her home here with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Presswood, for ten years.

Mrs. Presswood was born in Marietta County, Georgia, and lived most of her life in Fort Paine, Alabama. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

In addition to her son, daughter-in-law and grandson, Lee Presswood here, she is survived by two other sons, Glenn Presswood of Detroit, Mich., John Presswood, Chattanooga, Tenn., and one daughter, Mrs. Emma Stevens of Fort Paine, Alabama.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at four o'­clock in the First Baptist Church here with Rev. Glenn Taylor, pastor, officiating. Pallbearers were Howard Wisehaupt, Rufus Miller, Clarence Shultz, Otis Magee, Clyde Williams, and Cecil Westbrook. Burial was at Hope Cemetery with Woodward­Lowther of Holly Hill in charge.
