John Henry Quigley, life-long resident of Flagler County, died in an Orlando hospital early Sunday morning. He had been ill for several months but had only been in the hospital a few days.

Mr. Quigley was born in Flagler County and had been caretaker of the Princess Estate for 40 years. He was 67 years of age.

Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Craig Funeral Chapel in St. Augustine with Brother William Lindsay officiating: Interment followed in the family lot in the Pellicer Creek Cemetery.

Mr. Quigley is survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie Quigley; two daughters, Mrs. Joan Kersey of Moultrie and Mrs. Susie Selph of Okeechobee; four sons, J. J., J. R., W. W., and D. R., all of St. Augustine; one stepson, S. E. Tomlinson of Freeport, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Ella McSwain of St. Augustine, and Mrs. Laura Johnson of Salerno, Florida; two brothers, Jesse of St. Augustine and Owen of Salerno.

Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and several neices and nephews.

Pallbearers were Everett Dur­rance, Hiram Durrance, Borden Winn, Louis Dupont, Harry Hartley, and Leland Barrett.

Craig. Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
